The Supreme Court dismissed the writ against the decision to detain Vishnu Paudel
Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has dismissed the writ of habeas corpus filed against former Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel for being detained illegally. Paudel's wife Domaya Paudel filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the special court's decision to detain her during the money laundering investigation.
The joint bench of justices Vinod Sharma and Nityanand Pandey gave a decision to dismiss the writ on Thursday. With this decision of the court, the investigation process on him will continue. Meanwhile, the special court on Thursday allowed the money laundering investigation department to detain Paudel for six more days.
