Kathmandu. After Home Minister Sudhan Gurung resigned from the post, Prime Minister Balen Shah himself will take charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the time being. After Gurung's resignation, the Prime Minister kept the responsibility under him, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
After the fact that he was a partner with the controversial businessman Deepak Bhatt came out, Gurung was also dragged into the controversy. After that, he decided to step down from the ministerial position, establishing a moral basis that the allegations leveled against him should be investigated impartially and the functioning of the government should not be obstructed.
