The Supreme Court demanded a written reply from Prime Minister Karki

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has ordered Prime Minister Sushila Karki to submit a written reply to the contempt of court case. Advocate Dr. said that the order regarding the return of the ambassador was not followed. Premraj Silwal filed a contempt case against Prime Minister Karki. After the preliminary hearing on Sunday, the bench of Judges Hari Phuyal and Abdul Aziz Muslim ordered to submit a written answer with reasons why no action should be taken in the case.

Earlier, after the Supreme Court issued an interim order not to implement the decision to recall the ambassador, the government directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to appear. Currently, ambassadors are appearing in foreign countries.

The court had issued an interim order on November 16, and had violated the order on October 17, and sent a letter to the ambassadors to come back and appear at the ministry. The joint bench of Justices Saranga Subedi and Srikant Paudel gave an interim order not to implement the decision to return the ambassador on the 16th.

The interim government led by Karki recalled 11 ambassadors on October 30 and asked them to attend the ministry, but 4 of the ambassadors who were recalled have already resigned saying that they are not fit to continue in their positions. 2 people are not in contact with the foreign ministry, the remaining 5 ambassadors also leave after showing their presence in the booklet in the 'Ambassadors Room' of the foreign ministry.
