The price of gold continues to rise, exceeding 277,000 tolas

Kathmandu. As the wedding season begins, the price of gold is constantly increasing. There have been some fluctuations in the price of silver. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, today the price of one tola of printed gold has been fixed at 277,800, while the value of the same amount of white metal has been fixed at 5,625 rupees. 

Last Thursday, gold was traded at 276,500 per tola and on Friday at 277,200 per tola, while one tola of silver was traded at 5,485 and 5,645 on Friday. According to the federation, due to fluctuations in the price of gold and silver in the international market, the dollar exchange rate and geopolitical uncertainty, the prices in the local market have also been affected.
