Kathmandu. The price of chicken meat has decreased in the market. The National Poultry Sales Traders Association has informed that the price of meat has been reduced with effect from Wednesday. According to the federation, the price of chicken meat has decreased from 10 rupees to 15 rupees per kilo.

In live chicken, 10 rupees per kg has been reduced to 240 rupees. Earlier, live chicken was 250 rupees per kilo.

Similarly, the price of prepared chicken meat has decreased by 15 rupees per kg. Jang Bahadur BC, president of the National Poultry Traders Association, said that the price of prepared meat, which was previously Rs 345, has dropped to Rs 330. He said that due to the increase in chicken production, the price of meat has decreased.
