The President's request to devote heart, word and deed to realize the aspirations of the martyrs
Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has requested all political parties, general public and all related parties to devote themselves with heart, word and deed to realize the aspirations of the martyrs who have received martyrdom for the independence of the nation of Nepal and the Nepalese people.
Releasing a message on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, President Paudel wished that this day could provide inspiration and encouragement to realize the aspirations of martyrs, as it is martyrdom to dedicate one's precious life for the welfare of the people and the nation.
Paying emotional tribute to all known (unknown) immortal martyrs including Shukraraj Shastri, Dharmabhakta Mathema, Dashrath Chand, Gangalal Shrestha, who laid down their precious lives for civil freedom, establishment of democracy and defense of nationhood, he reminded that today will be taken as a special day to remember the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
