The NEPSE index fell by 26.07 points, trading at 11.97 billion

Kathmandu. On the second day of the week today, the stock market has seen a decline. NEPSE index decreased by 26.07 points to 2798 points. Today, the transaction amount has also decreased. The previous day's turnover was 14.35 billion rupees, but on Monday it was limited to 11.97 billion rupees.

On Monday, while the share price of 48 companies increased, 211 companies decreased while the prices of 4 companies remained stable. All other sub-indices have declined except for the manufacturing and processing group. The index of this group increased by 0.25 percent.

Sectorally, banking 1.61 percent, development bank 0.84 percent, finance 0.71 percent, hotel and tourism 0.26 percent, investment 1.52 percent, life insurance 0.94 percent, microfinance 0.75 percent, non-life insurance 0.45 percent, others 1.09 percent and business group decreased by 0.21 percent.
