Spokesperson and joint secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Anand Kafle, informed that the Central Security Committee has already decided to ban the use of drones in the House of Representatives elections to be held in February.

He also informed that since the misuse of social media is increasing now, the state-of-the-art unit launched by the Nepal Police will be made more effective to prevent it. He said that the team is also working to monitor the people who give false misleading information and hate speech in violation of the election code of conduct.
