Today is also known as Yamadvitiya. Even though the festival, also known as Yama Panchak, lasts for five days, this year the date has been extended and fell on the sixth day, according to the Nepal Panchang Adjudicatory Development Committee.

There is a classical rule to do auspicious deeds by turning the moon to the right or facing it.

According to the committee, the state administrator should apply the vaccine on site. Today, on the day of Lakshmi Puja, the lamp, Kalash and Ganesha are worshiped in the Ashtdal written on the original plate, Markandeya, Ashwatthama, Bali, Vyasa, Hanuman, Vibhishan, Kripacharya and Parashuram, Chiranjeevi, Chitragupta, Yamaraj, Yamuna and Dharmaraj, Ganapatyadi and Navagraha are also worshiped by sisters and brothers with streams of oil. According to the tradition, flowers are garlanded with saptarangi or pancharangi tika, makhamli, saipatri or Godavari.
