The latest political situation should be discussed in the convention: Senior Vice President Pokharel

Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party UML senior vice president Ishwar Pokharel has said that in the changing situation, the upcoming 11th national convention of the party should review the revised constitution and political situation. Senior Vice-President Pokharel issued a statement today and stressed that there should be a discussion in the convention regarding the developments after the Genji movement of August 23rd and 24th.

The leadership of UML has been saying that since the second legislative convention was held on August 20-22, the next national convention is only for the election of the leadership. President KP Sharma Oli gave a public statement on the selection of the leadership of the convention after giving his speech on contemporary issues.
