Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has said that senior citizens full of knowledge, skills and experience are a source of inspiration for us and a guide for social development. On the occasion of National Senior Citizen's Day, 2082, he wished good health, long life and dignified life to Nepalis at home and abroad, he mentioned that senior citizens, who are the source of love, affection and compassion, need respect, respect and proper protection.

President Paudel expressed his best wishes for the success of the National Senior Citizens Day with the hope that this day will inspire everyone to facilitate the dignified living of senior citizens.

Commemorating the day when social security allowance was started to be distributed to the senior citizens on 11th January 2051, National Senior Citizens Day has been started to be celebrated on the basis of the decision of the government.
