The inquiry commission also sent question papers to Deuba and Prachanda

Kathmandu. The Commission of Inquiry into the incident that took place on August 23 and 24 has sent a question paper to Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba and Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'. The Commission has sent written questions to both of them related to the incidents of 23 and 24.

The commission of inquiry led by Justice Gauri Bahadur Karki is preparing to write a letter calling the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for a statement. An official of the commission said that a correspondence will be sent to Oli to appear in the statement by Friday evening.

The Commission had taken the statement of the then Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar only a few days ago. Before that, IGP Dan Bahadur Karki, former IGP Chandrakuber Khapung, former Home Secretary Gokarnamani Duwadi, former head of National Investigation Department Hutraj Thapa, IGP of Armed Police Force Raju Aryal and others have also taken statements.
