The hearing of the writ given by 74 MPs will be held in a joint bench

Kathmandu. The hearing of the petition filed on the grounds that the appointment process of Madhesh Chief Minister Saroj Yadav is unconstitutional will be heard in a joint bench. The writ has been signed by 74 state assembly members from 7 political parties. The single bench of Judge Nityanand Pandey ordered to send the writ to the joint bench. The joint bench is scheduled for next Sunday.

In the petition filed on Tuesday, the leadership of Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Krishna Prasad Yadav, Jaspa Nepal parliamentary party leader Saroj Kumar Yadav, Maoist Center deputy leader of the parliamentary party Yuvraj Bhattarai, LOSPA parliamentary party leader Jaylun Rain and other leaders. Earlier on Tuesday, the Supreme Court had issued an interim order to prevent Chief Minister Yadav from taking any decision that would have a long-term impact.
