The Hari Khaitan campus of Birganj is under tension after the examination was stopped due to an internal dispute
Birganj. Hari Khaitan Multipurpose Campus, a prestigious community educational institution in Birgunj, has now turned into a battlefield. The future of around 4,000 students has been pushed into darkness due to internal power struggle and tussle between the campus management committee and the faculty union. After the quarterly examination scheduled to be conducted from Monday was abruptly canceled at the last moment, the angry students took to the streets. More than 3,000 students, who had prepared for a long time and reached the campus to take the exam, were shocked when the administration put up the notice of 'examination postponement'.
The students staged a sit-in at the main gate of the campus and raised slogans against the irresponsibility of the college administration, the campus head and the board of directors. The students took out a protest rally from the campus saying that 'our future cannot be politicized, exams cannot be stopped due to internal quarrels'.
