The government is committed to holding elections on time: Minister of Communications Kharel
Kavrepalanchok. Government spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has said that the elections will be held at the appointed time according to the constitution and democratic practice. Talking to the media during the inspection of Panchkhaal Municipality of Kavrepalanchok district today, he said that the government has created an environment for the elections and the political parties are also moving towards it.
Stating that there is no confusion regarding the election, the Minister of Communications Kharel mentioned that it is very necessary to hold the election on time for the strengthening of political stability and democracy in the country.
He clarified that the government is fully committed to the election process. Communication Minister Kharel said, "In order to create an environment for the elections, the government has reached their offices on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss and interact with the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, National Independent Party (RSWP), National Democratic Party and Janmaat Party." In the presence of the President, a meeting was also held with the top leaders of the three main parties, including the Prime Minister. This has ensured the election environment. Parties are ready for elections. The government is making necessary preparations for the elections.
Mahesh Kharel, the city head of Panchkhaal municipality, emphasized that the coordination and cooperation of the union, state and local levels should be broadened and actively embarked on the journey of development and prosperity. There was a significant presence of local residents, social workers and intellectuals in the program. Meanwhile, Minister Kharel addressed the Kulpuja and various religious programs held every year at Kharelthok Swara, which is considered important from a religious and cultural point of view.
