The Gas Industry Association will provide a thousand 250 cylinders free of charge to the flood-affected
The Kathmandu. The Nepal LP Gas Industry Association has provided 1,250 gas cylinders to the people affected by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. The association has announced to provide gas as a humanitarian aid to the people of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Gorkhalag districts, which are severely affected by the flood.
Expressing deep sorrow over the massive loss of public money caused by the floods that occurred on Wednesday morning, the association said that the gas cylinders will be provided as a relief through the Nepal Oil Corporation to the targeted affected sections. In a statement issued by the president of the association, Dewan Bahadur Chand, it has been said that it is the common responsibility of all to help the affected citizens during the disaster and the relief has been announced in view of the immediate needs and difficulties.
The organization paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the flood and expressed condolences to the bereaved families. The organization has also appealed to mobilize all the mechanisms of the state to expedite the treatment of the injured and search for the missing. Saying that the disaster is not a problem of any one person or community, the organization has urged all parties to join hands with a humanitarian spirit for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the affected citizens.
