The Kathmandu. The flow of Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers has been asked to be on high alert even if it is below the warning level. The Hydrology and Water Resources Research Center, Flood Forecasting Division has been asked to be vigilant despite the flow of water in the river after the flood in Bhotekoshi on September 10.
In a flood forecast bulletin issued here today by the Flood Forecasting Division, the Sassana River flowing through the surrounding districts of Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Khotkhota, Okhaldhanga, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Sindhupalchok, Koraput, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, Dhading, Gorkha, Lamjung and Dolpa has increased significantly and poses a moderate risk of flash floods.
