The country has moved towards elections: Minister Kharel

Kathmandu. Government spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has said that the country is moving towards elections. Inaugurating the interaction and discussion program held in Pokhara, Kaski on Sunday, regarding the 'concept developed in this field to make mass media professional', he said that in the discussion between the top leaders of the three major parties with the Prime Minister on Saturday, there was an agreement to go to the election.

He said, "In the last week, the government has held intensive discussions with political parties, Genji representatives and concerned parties. The government has reached the offices of the main political parties and the residences of the top leaders and held talks." All the political parties are preparing for the elections, they are submitting the closed list of candidates for proportionality, the country has moved forward in the elections.

He said that the unity and cooperation between the new parties also created the atmosphere of the election. Minister Kharel said that the country will move towards the destination of development and prosperity through the election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on February 21.
