That's why the weather has been hazy for a few days", he said, "The pollution is a little less this year compared to last year. The pollution will not increase excessively until the forest fires." According to the Air Quality Index AQI, the air quality index of Kathmandu valley at 9:20 am today has reached 199. Along with this, Kathmandu has been listed as the third most polluted city in the world.
Environmentalist Bhushan Tuladhar, stating that timely preparation is necessary for pollution control, opined that proper management of garbage from the house, control of fires, smoke testing of vehicles, strict implementation of standards will help in pollution control.
