The Chief Minister of Bagmati is taking a vote of confidence today, the 'whip' of RPP can get majority
Makwanpur. Bagmati Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar is taking the vote of confidence from the provincial assembly today. He will take the vote of confidence in the state assembly meeting on Monday at 1 pm.
According to Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal, he submitted his claim on August 3, and was appointed as the Chief Minister on August 4 by Provincial Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota and administered the oath of office and secrecy. According to Article 188, Clause 4 of the Constitution and Rule 143 of the Provincial Assembly Rules, 2074, there is a constitutional provision that the Chief Minister must obtain a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly within 30 days.
In today's meeting called for the same purpose, Chief Minister Thapa will submit a motion of confidence. The Provincial Assembly Secretariat has informed that the proposal will be discussed in the House as well as the division of votes.
