Kathmandu. In the run-up to the House of Representatives elections, the National Democratic Party (RPP) has released its election manifesto and presented a long-term national roadmap. Party President Rajendra Lingden presented the political, economic and cultural vision of the party while reciting the 'resolution' at the program held at the central office.

Publicizing the long-term thinking of making Nepal a "strong, prosperous and advanced nation", RPP has announced that capital formation, sustainable development and social justice will be the main basis. The manifesto includes a commitment to free and universal access to education and health, expansion of the social security system, equitable prosperity and creating widespread employment through a youth-centered production-oriented economy.

A middle income country by 2087

The party has set the goal of making Nepal a middle-income country by 2087. For this, priority has been given to sustainable economic growth, quality education-health services, poverty reduction, development and expansion of technology, strategic infrastructure construction and planned development of cities and settlements.

In addition, it has been mentioned that increasing production and productivity, efficient public service delivery, maximum utilization and protection of natural resources and sustainable social security will be the basis of the long-term national strategy.

National Security and Cultural Identity

In the manifesto, the protection of national independence, integrity, unity and sovereignty has been made a primary issue. It is also committed to adopt a strong national security policy for the protection and promotion of natural, religious and cultural heritage.

The RPP has reiterated its goal of establishing Hindu Rashtra based on Vedic Sanatan Dharma. However, along with that, it has claimed that religious tolerance and coexistence will be the basis for ensuring equality and equal freedom among all religions.
