Supreme Court's interim order to stop all work of the Assets Investigation Commission

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has issued an interim order to immediately stop all activities of the Property Investigation Commission. A single bench of Judge Nripadhwaj Niraula has ordered to stop all the work of the Commission.

Earlier last Friday, the Supreme Court had issued an interim order to stop the functioning of the Commission. However, disobeying the said order, the Commission issued a notice stating that it will continue to investigate the assets of other than ex-judges, ex-military officers and ex-officers of the Constitutional Commission.
