Kathmandu. Environmentalists have suggested increasing the use of electrical energy to reduce fuel consumption. In the program organized by Kailashkut Social Campaign in Handigaon on 'Healthy environment today's need', the speakers suggested to use electrical appliances for daily work including kitchen.

Environmentalist Bhushan Tuladhar emphasized that electricity should be used instead of gas in the kitchen to reduce air pollution in the home. He suggested not to burn plastic and other garbage, to use masks when going to industrial areas and places with high pollution. Environmentalist Shilshila Acharya opined that if traditional knowledge and skills can be put into practice, it will help in environmental protection. She said that it is necessary to move forward by connecting the environment with health and society.
