Speed up printing and shipping of ballot papers across the country including Karnali

Kathmandu. There has been an acceleration in the process of printing and shipping ballots for the upcoming House of Representatives and State Assembly elections across the country. The Election Commission has started sending ballot papers to different 10 districts of Karnali province, while printing and packing is continuing in other districts of the province.
According to Prakash Neupane, Assistant Spokesperson of the Commission, the process of transporting ballot papers has already started in Salyan, Rukum Paschim, Dolpa, Mugu, Humla, Kalikot, Jumla, Jajarkot, Dailekh and Surkhet in Karnali Province. So far, printing of ballot papers has been completed in 124 constituencies of 58 districts across the country, in which a total of 1 crore 57 lakh 78 thousand ballot papers have been prepared.
