Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Minister Vishwaprakash Sharma has said that there are two options for the party convention. In a program held after viewing the Congress offices of Elam that were set on fire during the Genji demonstration, he clarified that the convention is possible and both options are feasible.

Sharma said, "Time is running out, now a regular convention is possible. I am clear about your friends' questions." Let's all come together in unity, the convention is possible, there are two options.

According to him, the first option is to immediately create an agenda so that a regular convention can be held in the last week of December. If some days are not enough during the preparation, the convention can be completed with an additional 15 days. "The possibility that the date of submission of the list of proportionals or the election of February 21 may be moved to a later date can be found through political consensus based on the need for a calm environment and the climatic challenges of the Himalayan region," said Sharma.

Sharma explained the way to call a special convention by the chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba as the second option as decided by the then chairman Suvarna Shamsher in 2014.
