Seventeen lakh farmers will be listed

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development will soon list about 1.7 lakh farmers who are yet to be listed. At the local and regional level, 1.737 thousand farmers were yet to be listed due to some technical reasons including staff management, political ups and downs.
Mahanand Joshi, information officer of the ministry, informed that 23 lakh 93 thousand farmers have been included in the list so far. Preparations are being made to include the rest of the farmers in the calculation and connect them to the electronic information system.
