Seven leaders-activists were expelled by CPN after giving candidature against the decision

Kathmandu. The Nepali Communist Party CPN has removed seven leaders and activists from the organization for violating party discipline. They were expelled on the charge of contesting the party's official decision and supporting such candidates.

According to the party constitution, those who register their candidacy independently or differently, as well as proposers, supporters or propagandists of such candidates during the upcoming general election scheduled on February 21, will be dealt with according to the party constitution.

Haribol Gajurel and Maheshwar Dahal of Sindhuli, Kulprasad KC of Dang Constituency No. 4, Major Rai of Udaipur and Dharmanath Sah, Rajkumari Sah and Jivach Sah of Siraha are among those expelled under the disciplinary action taken according to Section 106 of the Party Constitution.

In a joint statement issued by party co-convenor Madhav Kumar Nepal and coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', it has been made clear that any activity contrary to the party's decisions and directives will not be acceptable. Also, a message has been given that the party will stand firmly against actions that weaken organizational unity and discipline.
