Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Proportional Member of Parliament Arjun Narasimha KC is going to administer oath to other newly elected MPs. After the 78-year-old KC was sworn in by President Ramchandra Paudel on the afternoon of March 12, there is a program to administer the oath to other members. According to the final list published by the Election Commission, KC is the oldest member in the House of Representatives.
According to the constitutional provisions, until the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are elected, it is customary for senior members to administer oaths to other MPs and preside over the first meeting of the House of Representatives.
