Schools in Kailali closed for a week after the cold wave

Kathmandu. Gauriganga Municipality of Kailali has decided to close all the schools in the city for a week due to extreme cold and cold wave in the Terai region of Far West. The municipality has informed that classes will be closed from January 24th to January 2nd.

Leave has been given as the health of the children may be affected due to the thick cough and severe cold. Cold waves have made life difficult in Terai districts including Kailali, and the effects of the cold have also started to be felt in the agricultural sector.
