Main News Image

Kathmandu. Sanjay Sah, who was trapped inside the tunnel of the Trishuli-3 'A' hydropower project due to the devastating flood that occurred on August 10 at Bhotekoshi in Rasuwa, has said that there may still be people inside the tunnel. Sah and mechanical supervisor Kabir Maharjan were rescued alive from the tunnel 10 days after the flood on Friday.

After the rescue, Sah said that he was working as an operator and that he could not escape when he informed other colleagues that the accident was happening before the flood. He said that he chanted the Mahamantra while sitting inside the tunnel for 10 days. A brief conversation with Saha after the rescue.

How many people are inside?

Inside, I used to work as an operator in the center room. Other times there were four or five people. There should be 40-45 people at this time. When I was in the control room, I had to save everyone's lives. After such an accident, I did not run away alone. Everyone had to be saved. At that time, I told everyone that there was an accident at the dam. And made everyone run outside. My time was wasted doing that. In the end, I couldn't get out.

How many people are still stuck inside?

When talking with friends, only three or four people were around. There was a power house inside, are there people in that power house too? maybe All must not have escaped. The tunnel is long, the force of water must have taken it inside.
