Safe rescue of old man who jumped into Narayani river
Kathmandu. An elderly man who jumped into the Narayani River in Gaidakot Municipality-2 of East Nawalparasi District was rescued safely by the armed police. 62-year-old Jhanak Prasad Paudel, resident of Devchuli Municipality-11 Dharapani in the same district, jumped into the river this morning.
After that, the team deployed from the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 31 Gulm East Nawalparasi rescued him safely with the help of a motor boat. DSP Shailendra Thapa said that after the rescue, he was sent to Chitwan Hospital for treatment. His condition is now normal.
