Kathmandu. The largest party in the Parliament, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RASP), has finalized its candidates for the chairmanship of 10 single committees, including 2 joint committees. The names of the candidates were finalized at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Parliamentary Party leader Balendra Shah Balen at the Parliamentary Party office at Singhdarbar on Thursday.
RSVP has adopted a strategy of sending its expert MPs to lead the committee to increase the efficiency of the parliament and maintain good governance. The chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee will be given to the main opposition party by the RSP. The election of parliamentary committees will be held on Friday. Nominations for that are being registered today.
