Solukhumbu.  After heavy snowfall in the Khumbu region of Solukhumbu, the movement of tourists who have reached the high Himalayan region has been affected. Snowfall has started in the upper part of Khumbu after continuous rain. According to Chief District Officer Kamansingh Thapa Magar, more than half a meter of snow has frozen in the higher areas of Khumbu. Due to the snowfall, the tourists who went to the upper areas for trekking and mountain climbing are prohibited from moving further towards the dangerous places.

He said that there is information that there is heavy snowfall in the upper areas and more than half a meter of snow has accumulated in some places. He informed that by prioritizing the safety of the tourists, they are being coordinated with the local level, local residents and the police to keep them in a safe place.
