Remains of a bus found in Trishuli, suspected to be the missing bus in Seemaltal
Chitwan. The remains of a bus have been found on the bank of Trishuli at Dwondrang Bensi, Ambukhairhani rural municipality 5 of Tanahun. It is suspected that it might be one of the two buses that went missing last year in Simaltal located in Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality 29. The remains of the bus were found near Tanahu, 200 meters from the place where the bus disappeared.
According to chief police inspector Prateek Singh of the area police office, Muglin, the locals informed the police after the net got stuck while fishing. After that, the bus was found buried in the sand, and excavation work is underway.
According to him, there is a possibility that it could be the same bus as it matches the color of the Ganapati bus that was seen and disappeared in Simaltal. However, he informed that we can say for sure only after the bus is taken out.
