Acting ambassador said - Nepal should give identity to people of Nepali origin

new york Sharadraj Aran, Acting Ambassador of Nepal to America, is of the opinion that people of Nepali origin scattered around the world should be introduced to Nepali people. Addressing the national conference of the Association of Nepali Origin ANO in Carlyle, Pennsylvania, USA on Saturday evening, he asserted that the Nepali race can make a great contribution to the construction and prosperity of Nepal.

Ambassador Aran said this after the central president of ANO, Dilli Adhikari, expressed the view that the Nepalese government should recognize the people of Nepalese origin who are ready to contribute to the prosperity of Nepal. The presiding officer was of the opinion that people of Nepalese origin, who left Nepal generations ago, are ready to contribute to every area of Nepal as representatives of the Nepali race, but the Nepalese government should be ready to give its own descendants the identity of Nepalese.

In the event, Acting Ambassador Aran said that the embassy is ready to discuss how to recognize the people of Nepali origin who have been living in different countries of the world for many generations and that he will convey the demand of Nepali people of Nepali origin in America to the Nepalese government.

On that occasion, Dr. Damodar Paudel, unpaid consul of Nepal for Ohio state of America and member of the central secretariat of ANO, expressed his belief that the campaign of ANO to connect the people of Nepali race with Nepal has gained momentum and it will contribute to the prosperity of Nepal.
