Refusal to grant interim order on the writ of Resham Chaudhary

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has refused to grant an interim order on a writ petition filed by the Patron of Civil Liberation Party, Nepal, Reshammalal Chaudhary, demanding him to become a candidate from Kailali Region No. 1. The bench of Justices Saranga Subedi and Tek Prasad Dhungana refused to issue an interim order after hearing the dispute today.

It is said in the order, "Since the interpretation of the said constitutional and legal provisions will be held during the final hearing of the writ petition, there is no need to issue an interim order as per the demand from the point of view of balance of convenience." Submit according to the rules. Chowdhury filed a writ in the Supreme Court against the decision of the Election Officer of Kailali Region No. 1 to cancel his candidature.
