Kathmandu. A study report has shown that revenue has been affected due to continuous decline in real estate transactions in Bagmati province. According to the economic activity study report published by Nepal Rastra Bank, it has been seen that the revenue has also decreased when there is a decrease in house and building maps. According to the report, in the financial year 2080-81, there has been a big decline in the real estate business and construction sector in Bagmati province.
According to the report, the number of real estate registrations and the revenue from it has decreased. The number of real estate registrations has decreased by 25 percent to 98,648 by June 2082. This number was 1 lakh 31 thousand 451 till June 2081 in the previous financial year. It is mentioned in the report that during the same period of the previous year, the real estate registration decreased by 18.10 percent.
The revenue collected for real estate registration has also decreased by 23.6 percent. 1 trillion 82 billion 70 crore rupees were collected in June 2081 for real estate registration, but by the financial year 2082 June, it has decreased to 1 trillion 39 billion 64 crore rupees. Similarly, permanent maps of houses and buildings have also decreased. It has been mentioned in the National Bank report that there was a general decline of 1.7 percent from June 2081 to June 2082.
According to the study report of Rashtra Bank, 1 lakh 31 thousand 765 house and building maps were passed in the fiscal year 2081, but by June 2082, this number has decreased to 130 thousand 139.
