Re-demand after insufficient application of election police

Ramechhap. The time for police recruitment, selection and appointment necessary for the House of Representatives election to be held on February 21 has been extended again. The recruitment committee Ramechhap has extended two days to apply for election police recruitment till January 10th and 11th.

District Police Chief Bhola Bhatt said that as per the announcement of the election police in the district, the deadline for re-application has been extended as not enough applications have been received. Although 1,333 election policemen are needed in Ramechhap district, only 900 election policemen who have applied are currently being trained.
