Night traffic on Dhulikhel-Khawa road section is closed: The goal is to be blacked out within two weeks

Kathmandu. In order to speed up the upgrading work of the Dhulikhel-Khawa road section under the Araniko highway, the movement of vehicles has been stopped. Division Road Office Bhaktapur has closed the road for two weeks from Saturday night to pave the said section. An agreement was signed with a new construction company last October for this project, which was stopped for a long time due to the negligence of the construction business. At present, from 7th to 20th of Chait during the night from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am, the office will be completely closed.
Senior Divisional Engineer Sunam Yogesh said that tipper and other cargo vehicles were stopped for 24 hours during this period. According to him, out of this 4 km long road section, 2.5 km is planned to be paved by March and the remaining part by April.
