Ravi Lamichhane's case is being heard
Kathmandu. The hearing of the writ against the decision to return the money laundering and organized crime case against the chairman of the National Independent Party RSVP Ravi Lamichhane will be heard on Monday. Even though the case was filed in the Supreme Court on Sunday, it has not been sent to the Supreme Court, but it is being kept under 'wait and see' and will be heard on Monday. The joint bench of Judges Sharanga Subedi and Sunil Kumar Pokharel has ordered to fix the payment for Monday keeping in mind Sunday.
Earlier, a joint bench of Supreme Court Justices Sapna Pradhan Malla and Shrikant Paudel had ordered that the petition be submitted for regular hearing on Sunday. Attorney General Savita Bhandari Baral decided to withdraw the cases of money laundering and organized crime filed against Lamichhane during the previous government. Yuvraj Paudel, senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi and advocate Abhas Regmi filed separate writ petitions in the Supreme Court against the said decision.
