Kathmandu. Ravi Lamichhane, president of Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSWP, has been active in political activities since he was released on bail. He has already organized a program in his constituency Chitwan and also met the family members who were injured in the incident on 23rd and 24th of August. Ravi also met Prime Minister Sushila Karki. Meanwhile, Ravi has increased his speed. He is focusing all his activities on elections.

Meanwhile, on Monday night, Ravi had a long conversation with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah. Many topics of the discussion between the two leaders at the home of one of the leaders of RSVP have not been made public. But DP Aryal, the deputy chairman of RSVP, says that there was a cordial and meaningful meeting between them.

Acording to the sources, there has been a meaningful discussion between Ravi and Balen about forming an alliance in the upcoming elections. In the meeting, it was concluded that the country will be able to exit only through cooperation between the new powers, and both agreed to cooperate in the upcoming elections.

"Since the old parties will reap the benefits of going to the election alone now, there has been a general agreement on unity among the new parties as much as possible in the election, and if immediate unity is not possible, then an alliance," the source told DC Nepal.

Even earlier, Ravi-led Raswapa, Kulman Ghising's Patronage Bright Nepal Party and Balen's group were prepared to unite. However, at that time, Kulman asserted himself as the chairman of the unified party, so the negotiations could not be concluded. But after the discussion between Ravi and Balen on Monday, all these three forces have become positive about going to the elections with an alliance. It is said that there was a meaningful discussion between them on the issue of alliance rather than immediate unification.
