"Politics is a game played by a group of incompetents" - Suresh Acharya (Social Worker)

Kathmandu. Suresh Acharya, who was born in the year 2029 in Dhunibesi Municipality 6 of Dhading District, has been aware of politics since a young age.  Being active in various social activities as a teenager, the political party CPN-UML, which he was a member of recently, was recommended as a candidate for Dhunibesi City Mayor and Dhading District 1A candidate in the federal election. This is a particularly vivid example of how brutal it is to get a chair.

He has closely felt in his life how the people's preferred, qualified person is suppressed in the party. He is active in social work, always being in the midst of people's problems and finding solutions to them. The party never considered him worthy even in the selection of the internal committee, so he has taken politics as a dirty game of a faction and a dirty game played by a group of unqualified people rather than a qualified politician. Acharya, who always defends the rights of farmers, laborers and proletariat, especially takes politics as a social service. He is not greedy for positions and chairs, although he is preparing to run as a candidate during the election time, he has missed various opportunities due to the weak role of the party. Major programs including huge public meetings in Dhading district were completed under the chairmanship of Acharya. There are many examples of top level leaders including CPN-UML President KP Oli attending the program under his leadership. According to Acharya, 'the foundation of development is an honest government', 'the country will progress on the path of development only if everyone in the state is disciplined and obeys the law.'
Acharya, a communist warrior who appealed to all politicians to work together in the development and construction of the right people at the right time and place, has worked as the head of hundreds of assembly meetings in various contexts. He was a senior advisor of National Music Workers Union Dhading, NCP UML Dhading District Committee Secretariat member.

Acharya, who has been active in training as a key speaker in various cultural programs, meetings, conferences, gatherings, and political programs, has created an image of a skilled political personality by participating in training and receiving training in India, China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Singapore and other countries through grassroots organizations. Acharya, who has been presenting efficiency in various people's organizations, is currently active as a central committee member of Nepal Agriculture and Horticulture Workers' Union, Phapun. Acharya, who was always thinking and active in the development of the country, was a member of the then CPN UML Dhading district committee and the labor district in-charge, as well as a representative of the eighth congress of the then CPN UML in Butwal.

He has been the central advisor of the Truck Transport Professionals Association of Nepal and has been especially active for the rights of workers. He has been the founding president of Nepal Transport Independent Labor Organization, Bagmati Regional Committee, Vice President of Nepal Trade Union Federation, Jiphant, Dhading, and has visited many parts of Nepal in the context of protecting the rights and interests of various workers and studying and researching various cultural heritages. He has been equally active in the field by studying the study tour of temples, shrines, rivers, waterfalls, reservoirs, Taltalaiya forest plants, which have the potential of tourism suitable for internal and external tourists. Acharya, who has completed his work experience as a senior advisor of the Nepal Poultry Traders Welfare Association, is active in social services such as health, sanitation, blood donation, and is shouldering the responsibility towards society and citizens.

He was the chairman of Nepal Transport Independent Labor Organization Dhading for 4 terms and a member of the Central Labor Relations Department, as a member of the then Bagmati Committee of the Nepal Trade Union Federation 9Jifant, he was active in social service for eight years as the in-charge of Dhading, Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts successfully for two terms. Acharya, who has been active in various social activities, has expressed his commitment to spend his future days purely in social service.
