Rains wreak havoc on highways across the country: Kantilokpath opened, roads including Arnico and Mechi blocked

Kathmandu. Due to the incessant rains across the country, the transport services have been affected by the problems of landslides, falling stones and muddy roads on various highways of the country. According to the Nepal Police, the Kantilokpath of Makwanpur has been fully operational since this morning after the landslide cleared.

 On Wednesday evening, traffic was completely blocked on the Kantilokpath road section at Bakaiya rural municipality 11 Ghattepakha of Makwanpur when a landslide fell from the road. In view of the risk of monsoon, night service has also been banned on various highways.
