Kathmandu. At present there is influence of western wind in Nepal. The hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces including Far West Province are generally cloudy. Light rain with thunder and lightning is falling in few places of Sudurpaschim Province. In the rest of the land, the weather is mainly clear.

According to the weather forecast division, it will be cloudy in the highlands and mountainous areas of the country and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall in few places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of the country. The department said that there is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the rest of Gandaki Province and Karnali Province.
