Kathmandu. More than 21 main highways and road sections across the country have been affected by the floods, landslides and road erosion caused by the incessant rains across the country. Some roads have been completely blocked, while some roads have been partially blocked.
According to the latest update released by the Nepal Police, most of the major roads entering the Kathmandu valley have been affected due to floods and landslides. The movement of long-distance passenger and cargo vehicles has been affected due to road blockage.
Due to continuous rains, landslides will fall from the road, water flow will increase in streams and rivers and road erosion will continue, so the time for traffic operation in various places has also been determined.
