Rabi Lamichhane won't be able to become an MP even if he wins the election?
Kathmandu. Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has said that even if he wins the election, he will not get the position of MP. There have been reports that his opponents have encouraged voters not to vote for him based on this. Lamichhane, who has become a candidate for the third time from Chitwan constituency number 2, is currently meeting with the party ranks and interacting with the voters in his constituency.
At the same time, when a voter asked a question about the provision of automatic suspension even if an MP is elected, he clarified that if the speaker was already Devaraj Ghimire, there would be automatic suspension. Oli's order should have been postponed. However, this country has rules, laws, parliamentary rules and systems. Everything is according to law.
He added, even if I am not an MP, I can work for the people. Before joining politics, I was a journalist, and also had some work as a journalist. Being human is enough. In case of retaliatory or wrongful actions, I will take legal action. I believe in the court and the judicial process.
Currently, cases related to cooperative fraud, money laundering and organized crime are pending against Ravi in various courts of the country. Although the Attorney General's office has decided to return some cases, it has not yet been implemented. As the case is pending in the court, the legal provision of not being able to hold office may be applied.
