Public holiday in schools in Butwal till December 15
Kathmandu. Schools in Butwal will be closed from tomorrow till 15th of January. Butwal sub-metropolitan municipality has decided to give a holiday to schools after it became very cold with hussu from Wednesday morning. Khelraj Pandey, the head of the sub-metropolitan city, issued a notice on Wednesday and said that due to the heavy rain that started a few days ago and the extreme cold after the cold wave started on Wednesday, it has been decided to give winter vacation to all community and institutional schools within the sub-metropolitan city.
It is mentiond in the notice that the sub-metropolitan municipality has decided to give public holidays on 11th, 13th and 14th of January to be cut off from annual holidays. The government has already declared a public holiday tomorrow on the occasion of Christmas on the 10th, while on the 12th, Saturday and the 15th are public holidays due to the fall of Tamu Lhosar. In the meantime, the sub-metropolitan municipality also decided to give a three-day holiday after the cold.
