Prime Minister discussing with proportional MP today

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is having a special interaction with the proportional parliamentarians of all political parties represented in the House of Representatives today, Wednesday. In the program to be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Singh Darbar, proportional members of parliament from all the six national parties represented in the Parliament including the National Independent Party RSVP, Nepali Congress, CPN UML have been invited.

According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the main purpose of this discussion is how to make the role of MPs elected through the proportional election system more effective in the policy making process of the House and the government. It is said that discussions will be held on how to make proportional MPs more active in parliamentary committees and how to connect their expertise to law making.
