Kathmandu. Dr. Gokul Prasad Burlakoti, former chairman of the Debt Recovery Tribunal, has been appointed as the chairman of the Tribhuvan University Appeal Commission. According to Tribhuvan University, Prof. Dr. Yogendra Bahadur Gurung and Dr. Kavitaraj Poudel have been appointed as members of the commission.
On October 22nd, the general meeting of the University Assembly presided over by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology Vidyabhattarai, who is also the vice-chancellor of the university, decided to appoint the president and members. Due to Dasain and public holidays, the official appointment letter was handed over to the newly appointed officers by the Vice Chancellor's Office of Tertiary University on Monday only.
