Preparation to blacklist 9 construction companies
Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Prime Minister's Office has initiated the process of blacklisting nine construction companies. The office has issued a notification today and has asked the construction company for a written explanation, according to the letter sent by various agencies to be blacklisted.
According to subsection 1 of section 63 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, the office has been blacklisting construction companies that do not complete the assigned work on time. The construction company has been asked to submit a written explanation within seven days from the date of publication of the notice.
The office has stated that the notice has been published for the purpose of sub-rule 94 of Rule 141 of Public Procurement Rules 2064.
